2. "Mom denied food stamps shoots kids, kills self"
A woman in Texas had tried for months to qualify for food stamps and continued to fail to do so, eventually her desperation lead her to pull a gun in a welfare office. The seven hour police standoff resulted in her shooting her two children (10 year old Timothy and 12 year old Ramie, who both remain in critical condition) and then killing herself.

3. "Alec Baldwin kicked off American Airlines flight"
Alec Baldwin was removed from an American Airlines flight for using an electronic device to play Words With Friends. Others on the flight, however, explained that Baldwin was loud, obnoxious, and rude in addition to breaking the rules regarding electronics. He later that night posted tweets that made him seem a victim.
