The world's two tiniest babies are now living normal lives. Madeline Mann, born at only 9.9 ounces and 27 weeks into gestation, is now studying psychology at an honors college. Rumaisa Rhaman, born at an extremely tiny 9.2 ounces (the current world record) and 26 weeks old, is in the first grade now. Both these births were the result of preclampsia, which causes dangerously high blood pressure in women and often forces doctors to remove the babies early via cesarean section.
